This position is for experienced software engineers focused on building large-scale database services for the cloud, specifically within the Amazon Aurora team. The role involves designing and developing critical software components that impact AWS database services used by thousands of customers. Candidates will work in a fast-paced environment, contributing to both technical development and mentoring other engineers. Requirements
- Experience building complex software systems that have been successfully delivered to customers.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
- 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience.
- Master's degree or equivalent is preferred.
- Experience in large distributed system design development and/or deep database expertise and/or system programming.
Responsibilities
- Own the design and development of significant software components critical to database services.
- Build rock-solid components while mentoring other engineers.
- Deliver high-quality code that has a broad business impact.
