Job description
The Amazon Ads Publisher Technology team is seeking creative software engineers to develop solutions for content publishers to manage their advertising inventory. This Austin-based team focuses on creating user interfaces and APIs that allow publishers to define advertising restrictions. Engineers will work on low-latency solutions to enforce these restrictions during real-time ad bidding. Collaboration with other Amazon advertising teams is essential to ensure effective policy and rules-based technical solutions.
Requirements
- Experience programming with at least one software programming language.
- Experience building complex software systems that have been successfully delivered to customers.
- 3+ years of full software development life cycle experience, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations.
- Experience in debugging, profiling, and implementing software engineering best practices in large-scale systems.
- Knowledge of professional software engineering best practices for the full software development life cycle.
- Experience contributing to the architecture and design of new and current systems.
- Experience programming with at least one modern language such as Java, C++, or C# including object-oriented design.
Responsibilities
- Design, implement, deploy, and support globally-available user interfaces and APIs for publisher partners.
- Create low-latency solutions to evaluate and enforce advertising restrictions during real-time ad bid flow.
- Collaborate closely with publisher ad serving teams within Amazon.
- Support publisher software development engineers in integrating with the rules.
