• 5+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
• 5+ years of programming experience with at least one software programming language
• 5+ years of experience leading design or architecture of new and existing systems
• Experience as a mentor or tech lead for an engineering team
• Strong understanding of computer science fundamentals including data structures, algorithms, and distributed systems
• Experience building and operating AI-native software development practices
• Experience with cloud platforms, preferably AWS
• Knowledge of flow optimization or manufacturing systems
• Experience with robotics systems or industrial automation
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Architect, design, develop, and extend high-performance, test-driven code for industrial robotics systems
• Design and implement scalable and reliable solutions that operate at Amazon scale
• Lead technical design reviews and drive architectural decisions for complex distributed systems
• Build AI-native software solutions leveraging AI in development practices and product capabilities
• Own end-to-end delivery of software components from design through deployment
• Establish and maintain technical standards for code quality and testing
• Mentor and provide technical guidance to other engineers
• Partner with cross-functional stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions
• Work in an Agile/Scrum environment to deliver high-quality software
• Drive continuous improvement in development processes and practices
