The Director within the TechOps SRE team will lead a group of Site Reliability Engineers and Cloud Engineers, focusing on enhancing the reliability and performance of multi-region Kubernetes environments. This role involves collaborating with engineering partners to drive initiatives from design to implementation while fostering a culture of continuous improvement. The team is part of Fidelity Digital Assets, which is dedicated to developing a robust platform for digital asset management. This position offers an opportunity to influence infrastructure strategies and contribute to the growth of the business.

• 8+ years of hands-on AWS production experience managing highly available systems.
• Experience running Kubernetes workloads and clusters, preferably EKS.
• Proficiency in CI/CD practices, particularly with Jenkins.
• Strong programming skills, preferably in Python.
• Experience with observability tools such as Datadog and Splunk.

• Provide technical and people leadership for a team of Site Reliability Engineers.
• Set clear goals and expectations for team performance and career growth.
• Own execution for reliability and cloud delivery initiatives.
• Define and implement service reliability metrics and practices.
