NVIDIA is seeking a principal-level engineering leader for its Enterprise AI team, which focuses on building intelligent AI agents that enhance operational efficiency across the company. This role emphasizes reliability, user trust, and the architectural vision necessary to scale production systems. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in full-stack development and a passion for creating robust, production-grade software. This position is not research-focused but requires a hands-on approach to engineering leadership.
Requirements
- BS, MS, or equivalent experience in Computer Science or a related field.
- 15+ years of experience building and operating production software systems.
- Significant experience leading architecture and delivery across the full stack.
- Familiarity with enterprise application deployment, security, authentication, and application lifecycle management.
- Solid experience building modern applications across frontend, backend, and platform layers.
- Proven track record of taking complex products from prototype to reliable production systems.
- Experience building shared services, internal platforms, SDKs, or core infrastructure.
- Working knowledge of modern AI application patterns.
Responsibilities
- Improve reliability, performance, observability, release confidence, and end-user experience across AI products.
- Design and build resilient frontends, backend APIs, distributed services, and deployment systems.
- Establish strong patterns for testing, debugging, CI/CD, and operational excellence.
- Build reusable capabilities that support multiple agent domains.
- Help validate and operationalize technologies in enterprise production settings.
- Codify architecture, shared components, documentation, and operational playbooks.
- Define the core architecture for AI agents to collaborate securely and operate under governance.
- Partner closely with domain AI engineers, product managers, and other teams to deliver measurable outcomes.
Benefits
- Employees at NVIDIA are often offered comprehensive, day-one benefits—including medical, dental, and vision coverage with HSA support, life and disability insurance, an Employee Assistance Program, and a 401(k) with auto-enrollment. Many roles also have generous time off and holidays, donation matching (up to $10,000), and a wide menu of extras like FSAs, commuter benefits, legal and identity-theft protection, pet insurance, and wellness discounts. Optional programs can include student-loan and home-purchase support, plus family care resources and expert medical services.
