Job description

NVIDIA is seeking a senior DevOps Engineer to enhance the availability, quality, and delivery time of internal services used globally. The role involves collaborating with software developers and performance analysts to build and improve automation infrastructure. The team operates in a dynamic environment with multiple active projects and shifting priorities. Candidates should be eager to adopt new technologies and processes to drive continuous improvement.

Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science in Computer Engineering, Computer Science or related technical discipline or equivalent experience
  • 8+ years of experience in a relevant field
  • Excellent programming and debugging skills in scripting languages
  • Proven Linux system administration experience, preferably with CentOS and Ubuntu
  • Good knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and tools, such as GitLab
  • Experience with database administration and performance tuning
  • Familiarity with Containers (Docker, Kubernetes), Web Services (SOAP/REST), and Scalable Storage (HDFS/Ceph)

Responsibilities

  • Develop and support staging and production environments for multiple internal services
  • Coordinate with various teams across the globe to promote and improve CI/CD practices
  • Help to build services using on-premise Kubernetes and commercial clouds
  • Collaborate closely with software developers and performance analysts to enhance automation infrastructure
