NVIDIA is seeking a Senior Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) to join its GeForce Now team. The SRE will ensure the reliability and uptime of GPU cloud gaming services while enabling developers to implement changes effectively. This role involves working with a variety of tools to address complex problems and improve service reliability. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Kubernetes and automation, contributing to the overall performance and efficiency of the systems.
Requirements
- MS or BS in Computer Science/Engineering or a related field or equivalent experience.
- 8+ years of site reliability engineering experience in large scale distributed microservices.
- Very strong Kubernetes background with experience in complex VMI setups.
- Production-grade coding proficiency in languages like Go, Python, or robust Bash scripting.
- Experience managing multi-region cloud deployments on AWS, GCP, or Azure.
Responsibilities
- Build tools to enhance SRE observability.
- Participate in the Kubernetes migration journey and problem-solving.
- Rapidly debug and triage incidents and user-reported issues.
- Automate and script new/existing processes to achieve 100% automation of daily tasks.
- Support services before they go live through system design consulting and capacity management.
Benefits
- Employees at NVIDIA are often offered comprehensive, day-one benefits—including medical, dental, and vision coverage with HSA support, life and disability insurance, an Employee Assistance Program, and a 401(k) with auto-enrollment. Many roles also have generous time off and holidays, donation matching (up to $10,000), and a wide menu of extras like FSAs, commuter benefits, legal and identity-theft protection, pet insurance, and wellness discounts. Optional programs can include student-loan and home-purchase support, plus family care resources and expert medical services.
