Job description

The Product Solutions Engineer role on the Payments Platform team at Google focuses on enabling effective payment integrations for Google's products and services. This position involves collaborating with key product teams to provide technical expertise and support for payment solutions. The engineer will bridge the gap between business objectives and technical capabilities, ensuring seamless payment experiences for users. Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 3 years of experience in system design or in one programming language such as Java, C++, or Python.
  • 3 years of experience in technical troubleshooting and managing internal or external partners or customers.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with Google's first-party product teams to understand their business objectives and provide consultation on leveraging the Payments Platform.
  • Design, develop, and implement technical solutions to support new product features and geographic expansions.
  • Act as the primary technical expert for partners, providing support and troubleshooting for payment integrations.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Engineering, Product Management, and Business Operations teams to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Identify opportunities to optimize and automate workflows based on partner needs.
