Requirements
- Degree in Materials Science, Chemistry, or Chemical Engineering
- Demonstrated hands-on expertise in failure analysis and materials characterization
- Strong understanding of instrument fundamentals and data interpretation
- Experience in chemistry, materials science, and surface science
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Willingness to travel for training and project execution
Responsibilities
- Lead and complete sophisticated failure analysis investigations for manufacturing and field critical issues
- Apply sophisticated materials characterization and analytical techniques to resolve failure mechanisms
- Correlate analytical data with process history and manufacturing conditions to develop root-cause models
- Collaborate with internal customers on material selection and supplier qualification
- Build, develop, and validate new test methods and analytical workflows
- Clearly document and communicate findings through technical reports and presentations
