Job description

As a Test Engineer focused on MicroLED Display Manufacturing at Google, you will be responsible for the qualification, deployment, and ongoing support of microLED and display panel test systems. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to validate new testing capabilities and provide critical data for both engineering and production. The role involves optimizing test time, extending capabilities, expanding capacity, and reducing costs for production test plans. This position is part of Raxium's display group, which aims to revolutionize display technology for applications such as augmented reality.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Physics, or a specialized field.
  • 4 years of experience in optoelectronics test, display metrology, or semiconductor manufacturing environment.
  • 4 years of experience deploying, validating, and debugging semiconductor hardware test systems.
  • 4 years of experience writing and debugging test system software.
  • Experience scripting in SQL or Python.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with the Test Development team to lead production-scale release of new high-speed optical and electrical test systems.
  • Collaborate with the engineering team to design and implement automated pipelines for Gauge R&R and software deployment.
  • Define and execute the strategy for scaling test capacity to off-shore Contract Manufacturers.
  • Work cross-functionally to professionalize hardware integration and create documentation for consistent replication of test systems.
  • Serve as technical lead for rapid-response production support and troubleshoot complex yield limiters.
