The Customer Engineer for AI/ML at Google Cloud will serve as a primary technical partner and trusted advisor to customers, focusing on understanding their business challenges and providing tailored solutions. This role involves engaging with technical stakeholders, leading workshops, and developing prototypes to demonstrate the value of Google Cloud products. The engineer will work closely with sales teams to drive technical wins and facilitate the transition from sales to implementation. Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 4 years of experience with cloud native architecture in a customer-facing or support role.
- Experience identifying AI use cases to solve customer challenges or selling AI technology.
- Experience engaging with, or presenting to, technical stakeholders or executive leaders.
- Experience leading workshops, developing prototypes, or conducting demonstrations for clients.
Responsibilities
- Develop and own the technical account plan and strategy, participating in planning and supporting targeted sales motions.
- Combine sales, programming, and solutions architecture expertise to prove the value of Google Cloud Platform through complex demos, pilots, and in-depth workshops.
- Architect cross-pillar solutions, drive technical wins, and define initial delivery plans for customers.
- Facilitate the post-sales transition by supporting pricing activities and transitioning the final delivery plan to implementation teams.
- Maintain awareness of progress against the delivery plan, providing support to cross-functional teams during ramp, delivery, migration, or implementation phases.
