The Senior Customer Engineer for National Security at Google Public Sector will work closely with technical sales teams to differentiate Google Cloud offerings for government clients. This role involves engaging with customers to understand their business and technical requirements, and presenting tailored solutions. The engineer will also assist in troubleshooting technical issues and facilitate the deployment of cloud solutions. A focus on building trusted relationships with partners and customers is essential for success in this position.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 10 years of experience in deploying air-gapped software and working on air-gapped networks with classified deployments.
- Experience engaging with technical stakeholders and executive leaders.
- Experience with security concepts such as encryption, identity management, and access control.
- Must possess an active Top Secret/SCI security clearance with current polygraph.
Responsibilities
- Build partner specific, go-to-market solutions to reduce business cycles and drive partner business.
- Own the technical relationship with partners to ensure successful pilot or proof of concept.
- Make recommendations on integration strategies, enterprise architectures, and application infrastructure.
- Assist partners during the migration phase to ensure they have the necessary tools for deployment.
- Engage in proofs of concepts and troubleshoot technical questions and roadblocks.
