Job description
The IT Technical Analyst - Senior will join the Corporate organization in Columbus, IN, focusing on Systems/Information Technology. This role involves translating business and technical requirements into solution designs that adhere to enterprise architecture and performance standards. The analyst will work closely with infrastructure teams and developers to ensure high-quality delivery and support business continuity through technical assistance. The position requires a blend of technical expertise, problem-solving skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively with various stakeholders.
Requirements
- A college, university, or equivalent degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business, or a related subject is required.
- Intermediate level of relevant work experience is required, specifically 3-5 years.
- Extensive experience with the Nasuni Cloud NAS platform for file storage and cloud data management is necessary.
- Strong expertise in managing and optimizing NetApp storage solutions, including ONTAP, MetroCluster, and AFF systems is essential.
- In-depth knowledge of NAS protocols (NFS, SMB, CIFS) and storage networking is required.
- Experience with cloud integration and hybrid cloud architectures is needed.
- Familiarity with backup and disaster recovery processes, including NetApp SnapMirror and SnapVault, is important.
- Strong understanding of storage security best practices, including encryption and access control, is required.
- Solid scripting and automation skills, such as PowerShell or Python, are necessary.
Responsibilities
- Translate business and technical requirements into clear, reusable solution designs.
- Deliver robust application and infrastructure designs by evaluating viable solutions.
- Accelerate delivery timelines and reduce costs through component reuse and automation.
- Partner with infrastructure teams and developers to ensure designs are executed to specification.
- Participate in design and code reviews to ensure adherence to coding standards.
- Support test strategy development and execution to confirm solutions meet expectations.
- Analyze existing applications and infrastructure to identify remediation opportunities.
- Provide level 3 technical support for critical issues and contribute to documentation.
