The IC3 Real-Time Communications (RTC) team at Microsoft is focused on building a unified infrastructure for real-time meetings, calling, and large-scale events in Microsoft Teams. This role involves deriving semantic meaning from meetings and enabling efficient multimodal feature extraction to transform interactions into reusable knowledge. The team values collaboration, experimentation, and a growth mindset, aiming to influence product direction and deliver impactful solutions. Candidates will work on advanced models and infrastructure that support intelligent collaboration and AI-driven workflows across the Microsoft ecosystem.

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field AND 4+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including C#, Python, Rust, Java, C, or C++ OR equivalent experience.
• Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements.

• Build a unified infrastructure using advanced models to derive semantic meaning from meetings.
• Support real-time extraction and deferred extraction by utilizing idle CPU/GPU resources across IC3 and M365 Core.
• Design infrastructure for reuse across multimodal sessions with agents and CloudPC/CUA workloads.
• Balance real-time and offline processing to deliver richer meeting intelligence at a lower cost.
