The Associate, Software Engineering position at Goldman Sachs involves developing, enhancing, supporting, and maintaining software solutions for global businesses. • Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field with one year of experience in a software engineering role, or a Bachelor's degree in the same fields with two years of experience.
• Experience with C++ or Java.
• Familiarity with the full software development lifecycle, including requirements gathering, design, coding, testing, documentation, deployment, and production support.
• Experience building multi-threaded and multi-process service-oriented enterprise applications within a Unix environment.
• Knowledge of programming technologies including Spring, Hibernate, RabbitMQ, or Kafka.
• Experience with relational database management systems such as Sybase or Oracle.
• Understanding of micro-services architecture design and development including REST and Spring.
• Proficiency in database query languages, including SQL or NoSQL technologies such as MongoDB.
