Job description

The GS Select Onboarding Specialist is a client-facing role within Goldman Sachs' third-party wealth platform, focusing on the onboarding of new lending and deposit products. This position is essential for ensuring a seamless onboarding experience for advisors and partner firms. The specialist will manage the end-to-end onboarding lifecycle, including application initiation and ongoing management of loans and accounts. Strong operational execution and high-touch interaction with clients are key components of this role.

Requirements

  • 1–3 years of experience in financial services, operations, or client servicing roles.
  • Exposure to lending products, deposit accounts, or onboarding workflows is preferred.
  • Strong ability to operate in a team-based, client-centric environment.
  • Proficiency in Excel and operational systems.
  • Clear and effective written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

  • Support clients through the onboarding of new securities-based loans and GS Select savings accounts.
  • Manage a high-volume onboarding pipeline and track application status.
  • Prepare, review, and validate client documentation and data inputs.
  • Partner closely with Regional Banking Directors and Service and Operations teams.
  • Serve as a key point of contact for onboarding requirements and product processes.
  • Identify opportunities to streamline onboarding workflows and enhance client experience.

Benefits

  • Employees at Goldman Sachs are often offered comprehensive benefits, including medical, dental, life and disability coverage, generous vacation and holidays, and robust wellness resources such as EAP counseling, medical advocacy, on-site/virtual health services, and fitness support. Financial perks typically include retirement savings programs, live financial education, education support, and wealth-creation opportunities through equity awards and select investment programs. Many locations also provide family benefits (childcare resources, parental and family leaves, adoption/surrogacy support) and flexible work options like part-time schedules, job sharing, telecommuting, and alternate hours.
