The Applications Development Technology Lead Analyst at Citi is a senior-level position focused on establishing and implementing new or revised application systems in collaboration with the Technology team. • 6+ years of relevant experience in Apps Development or systems analysis role
• Extensive experience in system analysis and programming of software applications
• Experience in managing and implementing successful projects
• Subject Matter Expert (SME) in at least one area of Applications Development
• Demonstrated leadership and project management skills
• Advanced SQL knowledge, including complex joins, subqueries, and performance tuning of SQL queries
• Proficient in shell scripting for automation of batch processes
• Agile/Scrum methodology experience is required
• Bachelor’s degree/University degree or equivalent experience

• Partner with global team to ensure appropriate integration of functions to meet goals and identify necessary system enhancements
• Design and implement Java framework to migrate from legacy database platform
• Provide expertise in applications programming and ensure application design adheres to the overall architecture blueprint
• Utilize advanced knowledge of system flow and develop standards for coding, testing, debugging, and implementation
• Develop comprehensive knowledge of how areas of business integrate to accomplish business goals
• Provide in-depth analysis to define issues and develop innovative solutions
• Serve as advisor or coach to mid-level developers and analysts, allocating work as necessary
• Assess risk when business decisions are made, ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations
