The Applications Development Senior Manager is a senior management position focused on leading a team to implement new application systems and programs. The role requires a highly skilled Senior AI/ML & Agentic AI Engineer with expertise in Python, Java, and cloud platforms. This position is critical for designing and integrating advanced AI solutions to enhance engineering processes. The successful candidate will drive innovation and operational improvements across the enterprise.

• At least 6+ years of progressive experience in software engineering and AI/ML development.
• Minimum of 5 years focused on Generative AI, Agentic AI, and full-stack AI solutions.
• Expert proficiency in Python for AI/ML development.
• Strong proficiency in Java for building scalable enterprise applications.
• Extensive hands-on experience with at least one major cloud provider (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
• Solid experience with both SQL and NoSQL databases.

• Manage one or more Applications Development teams to accomplish established goals.
• Utilize in-depth knowledge across multiple Applications Development areas for technical oversight.
• Lead the design, development, and implementation of AI/ML and Agentic AI solutions.
• Architect and develop end-to-end AI systems using Python and Java.
• Drive the implementation of advanced generative AI methods and ensure effective deployment.
• Own the deployment pipeline for AI models using CI/CD methodologies and cloud platforms.
• Contribute to the establishment of engineering best practices and tooling standards.
• Act as a mentor for junior engineers, providing guidance on technical best practices.
