Job description
The role focuses on designing and configuring high-performance computing (HPC) clusters within KLA's Global Products Group. The team is dedicated to creating metrology and inspection products for semiconductor manufacturing. Candidates will collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate clusters into larger systems and support performance optimization. This position is ideal for individuals with a foundational knowledge of computer architecture and a passion for problem-solving.
Requirements
- Foundational knowledge of computer architecture including CPU, memory, storage, and networking.
- Basic understanding of Linux systems and operating system concepts.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Effective interpersonal skills and ability to work in a team environment.
- Master's Level Degree with 0 years related work experience or Bachelor's Level Degree with 2 years related work experience.
Responsibilities
- Design and configure HPC clusters to optimize performance, scalability, and reliability.
- Assist with hardware selection and support the testing and troubleshooting of components.
- Help integrate clusters into larger product systems in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
- Contribute to benchmarking, system tuning, and resolving hardware/software interaction issues.
- Document designs, procedures, and troubleshooting steps while contributing to engineering best practices.
