The role is focused on leading medium-sized projects within KLA's Film and Scatterometry Technology Division, which provides metrology solutions for semiconductor manufacturers. The team is dedicated to supporting customers from early research and development to high-volume manufacturing. Candidates will engage in complex problem diagnosis and resolution while developing new applications for existing products. This position requires strong project management and presentation skills, as well as a deep understanding of engineering principles.
Requirements
- Ph.D. degree, Masters with 2-4 years, or Bachelors with 3-5 years of experience in engineering applications.
- Thorough understanding of engineering principles and techniques related to project activities.
- High proficiency in several related technical areas.
- Ability to recognize system-wide issues and design accordingly.
- Strong working knowledge of testing techniques and various applications.
- Ability to independently resolve complex problems.
- Strong presentation and project management skills.
Responsibilities
- Lead medium-sized projects such as H2H, PLC, alpha characterization, beta testing, and gap analysis.
- Create and evaluate characterization and field test plans.
- Respond to customer requests and perform complex problem diagnosis and resolution.
- Develop and document new applications of existing and pre-release products.
- Develop written procedures, standards, training material, and other technical documentation.
- Review and evaluate the quality of data in related technical documents.
- Serve as Applications Representative for PLC projects.
