The role is part of the In-Business Risk unit within Markets, focusing on managing and controlling Trading P&L. The team plays a crucial role in ensuring accurate and timely reporting of Trading P&L to management and regulators. Candidates will partner with trading desks in a fast-paced environment, identifying variances and ensuring compliance with policies. The position also involves product management aspects, driving improvements in risk and finance while supporting new business opportunities.
Requirements
- 5+ years of relevant work experience in Financial Services.
- Strong experience in a financial services role such as First Line Control, P&L Production, Middle Office, Product Control, or Market Risk.
- Demonstrable understanding of Trading strategies and P&L generation.
- Detailed knowledge of at least one asset class, such as Equities, Commodities, FX, Rates, Treasury, or Credit Products.
- Proven experience in strategic design and project management implementation.
Responsibilities
- Monitor Markets P&L throughout the day.
- Identify, confirm, or resolve material P&L events across desks and Legal Entities.
- Provide clear and concise P&L commentary on T0 and T1.
- Proactively identify potential risks related to T0 flash, P&L reporting, and PAA processes.
- Conduct in-depth analysis of T0 flash, P&L reporting, and PAA against established Key Performance Metrics.
