The Applications Support Senior Analyst is a seasoned professional responsible for providing technical and business support for users of Citi Applications. This role focuses on maintaining application systems, ensuring stability, quality, and functionality while driving improvements in efficiency and effectiveness. The analyst evaluates complex issues, communicates effectively with stakeholders, and acts as a liaison between users and technology teams. Additionally, the role involves coaching new recruits and influencing decisions through expert advice.

• 4+ years experience in an Application Support role.
• Experience installing, configuring or supporting business applications.
• Experience with some programming languages and willingness/ability to learn.
• Advanced execution capabilities and ability to adjust quickly to changes and re-prioritization.
• Effective written and verbal communications including ability to explain technical issues in simple terms that non-IT staff can understand.
• Demonstrated analytical skills.
• Issue tracking and reporting using tools.
• Knowledge/experience of problem Management Tools.
• Good all-round technical skills.
• Ability to plan and organize workload.

• Provide technical and business support for users of Citi Applications.
• Maintain application systems that are running in daily operations.
• Manage, maintain and support applications and their operating environments.
• Perform start of day checks, continuous monitoring, and regional handover.
• Develop and maintain technical support documentation.
• Assess risk and impact of production issues and escalate to management.
• Ensure that storage and archiving procedures are functioning correctly.
• Formulate and define scope and objectives for application enhancements.
• Participate in application releases from development to deployment.
• Engage in post implementation analysis to ensure successful system design.
