Job description
The Payroll Sr Analyst is a seasoned professional responsible for providing business analysis support within an HR and Payroll operations organization. This role requires in-depth knowledge of payroll processes and procedures, as well as the ability to develop new techniques and improve workflows. The analyst will also take on leadership roles within teams, coaching and training new recruits while ensuring compliance with laws and regulations. Overall, the position significantly impacts project size and departmental performance.
Requirements
- 5-8 years of experience in a related role.
- Demonstrated execution capabilities.
- In-depth understanding and knowledge of payroll processes and procedures.
- Bachelor’s/University degree or equivalent experience.
Responsibilities
- Perform business analysis support for HR and Payroll operations.
- Create and manage documentation of internal procedures and business requirements.
- Serve as a subject matter expert for payroll processes and procedures.
- Execute test plans and document discrepancies found in outputs.
- Create and run data verification reports utilizing queries.
- Interact with customers on production and project support.
- Plan and execute complex projects across a broader departmental spectrum.
- Assess risk when making business decisions to safeguard the firm's reputation.
