Job description

The software development engineer role focuses on building core functionality for the AWS Network Performance Monitoring suite. The team is responsible for monitoring the health of Amazon's traffic and ensuring network performance and reliability. This position requires collaboration with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into technical specifications. Candidates should be passionate about software systems that enhance network observability and drive innovation.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
  • 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture experience
  • Experience programming with at least one software programming language
  • 3+ years of full software development life cycle experience
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent

Responsibilities

  • Leverage, develop, and implement industry-leading algorithms to optimize network observability.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into technical specifications.
