Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, Information Systems, or a closely related field with six years of experience, or a Master's degree with four years of experience.
  • Experience designing and developing scalable architectures in a financial services environment using AWS.
  • Demonstrated expertise in end-to-end cloud-based data solutions and software applications using AWS Cloud, Python, Spark, and SQL.
  • Experience with data management standard methodologies including data integration, data security, and metadata management.

Responsibilities

  • Build and improve data integration, modeling, and database design practices for operational systems.
  • Create scalable, flexible, and well-documented data architecture in collaboration with business and technical teams.
  • Architect, design, and build highly scalable data pipelines for analytical and reporting systems.
  • Evaluate, prototype, and recommend emerging data technologies and platforms.
  • Author and review data architecture artifacts, deliverables, and processes.
  • Provide guidance, training, and coaching to team members for performance and career development.
