Job description

This position involves designing and developing enterprise-grade financial applications using Java, Spring Boot, Angular, and RESTful APIs in an AWS Cloud environment. The role focuses on building automation pipelines and maintaining database schemas and backend services. The candidate will work on complex assignments across multiple projects while providing business solutions through software applications. Collaboration with DevOps and QA teams is essential to ensure quality software delivery.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Applied Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, Information Systems, or a closely related field, or a Master's degree with relevant experience.
  • Three years of experience as a Senior Software Engineer/Developer designing and developing full stack Java-based web applications in a financial services environment, or one year with a Master's degree.
  • Demonstrated expertise in designing and implementing Java-based enterprise applications and services in AWS Cloud.
  • Experience with RESTful Web Services, Spring, Angular, Docker, Kubernetes, and SonarQube.
  • Proficiency in database schema design and ORM mappings using Hibernate, PL/SQL, and Oracle database.

Responsibilities

  • Develop original and creative technical solutions to ongoing development efforts.
  • Design applications or subsystems on major projects across multiple platforms.
  • Support and perform all phases of testing leading to implementation.
  • Assist in planning and conducting user acceptance testing.
  • Develop comprehensive documentation for multiple applications supporting corporate initiatives.
  • Establish project plans for projects of moderate scope.
  • Perform independent and complex technical and functional analysis for multiple projects.
