The role involves managing a team focused on enhancing the organization's cybersecurity posture through effective Identity and Access Management (IAM) practices. The successful candidate will lead efforts to mitigate vulnerabilities and improve authentication controls. This position requires collaboration with IAM leaders to align strategies and deliverables. The team is part of Fidelity's Directory and Authentication group, which is responsible for managing identity and authentication security controls.
Requirements
- 7+ years of experience in a technology and leadership role, preferably managing risk utilizing the NIST cybersecurity framework.
- Deep understanding of Identification and Authentication controls, IAM principles such as SAML and OpenID Connect, and Authentication Assurance Levels (AALs).
- Demonstrated experience in agile team practices, planning ceremonies, and delivery.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and relationship-building skills.
- Senior level experience leading the development of solutions aligned with the strategic direction of the business.
Responsibilities
- Own accountability for the team’s approach, planning, and engagement model to ensure alignment and prioritization of the product roadmap.
- Translate IAM control enhancements into deliverables and milestones at the sub-initiative and epic level.
- Leverage agile routines to coordinate planning and prioritization, ensuring alignment with technology strategy and objectives.
- Provide day-to-day leadership for a delivery team comprised of engineering, quality, and analyst resources.
- Build a high-performing engineering team and support ongoing learning opportunities.
- Contribute to proactive research, vendor evaluations, and recommendations of new and existing capabilities.
- Oversee control and service observability, stability, resiliency, operations, and monitoring aligned with policies and standards.
