The Senior Manager, Data Analytics & Insights will lead efforts to transform data into actionable insights for Talent Acquisition, Management, and Learning and Development. This role involves designing data workflows and dashboards using tools like Alteryx, SQL, and Tableau/Power BI. The team is focused on delivering impactful analytics that inform strategic decision-making and enhance the talent experience. Collaboration with business leaders and mentorship of team members are key aspects of this position.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or master's degree with a minimum of 8 years of experience in data analytics, data governance, and business intelligence.
- Proven ability to design and optimize Alteryx workflows for advanced automation and data transformation.
- Solid working knowledge of SQL, including building and tuning complex queries.
- Strong understanding of relational and dimensional database concepts with hands-on experience in Snowflake and SQL Server.
- Highly skilled in developing dashboards and visual stories using Tableau and Power BI.
- Deep understanding of data governance principles including data security and process improvement.
- Proven ability to collaborate and influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Demonstrated talent for translating complex analytics into actionable business insights.
- Familiarity with Python and/or R is a strong plus.
Responsibilities
- Design and optimize advanced Alteryx workflows to deliver scalable talent analytics.
- Develop and maintain robust data pipelines using SQL with a focus on performance tuning.
- Create and enhance interactive dashboards in Tableau and Power BI.
- Implement scalable data models that uncover talent trends and automate workforce processes.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Talent and Business leaders to gather requirements.
- Communicate analytical findings by translating complex data into actionable business recommendations.
- Provide mentorship and thought leadership to team members and partners.
- Champion data governance practices including data cataloging and quality management.
- Serve as a domain expert on talent data and business processes.
- Contribute to the timely turnaround of prioritized ad-hoc data requests.
- Understand and document current state data definitions and process flows.
- Build strong relationships with team members and business partners.
