This position involves performing distributed application design and development with a focus on data engineering. The role requires expertise in various technologies, including Informatica, Python, SQL, and Oracle, to develop ETL strategies and cloud-native applications using Azure. The candidate will work on multiple projects, supporting divisional initiatives and ensuring comprehensive documentation and testing. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in complex data analysis and application design.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, Information Systems, or a closely related field, or a Master's degree with relevant experience.
• Three years of experience as a Senior Data Engineer or closely related occupation, or one year with a Master's degree.
• Demonstrated expertise in designing and organizing complex SQL queries and procedures using SQL Server, Oracle, MySQL, Teradata, and Netezza.
• Experience with ETL processes, Informatica, and PowerCenter for data lifecycle management.
• Proficiency in shell scripting for data extraction and manipulation using Unix and Linux.

• Develop original and creative technical solutions for ongoing development efforts.
• Design applications or subsystems for major projects across multiple platforms.
• Support and perform all phases of testing leading to implementation.
• Assist in planning and conducting user acceptance testing.
• Develop comprehensive documentation for multiple applications supporting corporate initiatives.
• Establish project plans for projects of moderate scope.
• Perform independent and complex technical and functional analysis for multiple projects.
