Job description

This position involves building and deploying REST APIs using Java and Springboot, as well as developing SOAP and REST Web Services. The role requires managing data with AWS and implementing CI/CD practices. The candidate will also troubleshoot production issues and provide technology solutions for various projects. Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, Information Systems, or a closely related field, or a Master's degree in a similar field.
  • Five years of experience as a Principal Software Engineer/Developer writing complex queries and programming using Java or J2EE, or three years with a Master's degree.
  • Demonstrated expertise in validating complex trade flows in Capital Markets Security Finance.
  • Experience in writing Java code for test automation and validating financial calculations using BDD tests.
  • Proficiency in performing quality assurance database testing using SQL Developer.

Responsibilities

  • Participate in reviews and refinement of architecture design.
  • Develop automation and functional tests for applications on complex projects.
  • Recommend development testing tools and validate test plans.
  • Ensure QA readiness of software deliverables.
  • Develop comprehensive testing documentation for multiple applications.
  • Establish testing project life cycle plans for complex projects.
  • Meet project goals on-time and on-budget.
  • Advise on risk assessment and management strategies for projects.
  • Plan and coordinate project schedules and assignments.
  • Act as a primary liaison for business units to resolve project issues.
