Job description

This position involves designing and developing reusable financial services mobile applications, focusing on test automation solutions for iOS and Android platforms. The role requires maintaining CI/CD pipelines and ensuring applications meet functional specifications. The candidate will work closely with architecture design teams and provide technology solutions to various project issues. Additionally, mentoring junior team members and advising senior management on technical strategies are key aspects of this role.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, Information Systems, or a closely related field, or a Master's degree with relevant experience.
  • Five years of experience as a Principal Software Engineer/Developer in the Financial Services domain, or three years with a Master's degree.
  • Experience developing Test Automation Frameworks using Selenium (TestNG), Cypress, and Playwright.
  • Demonstrated expertise in architecting and designing Test Automation frameworks for front-end, User Interfaces, Web services, and back-end platforms.

Responsibilities

  • Participate in architecture design teams and define application-level architecture.
  • Develop applications on complex projects and recommend development testing tools and methodologies.
  • Ensure QA readiness of software deliverables and develop comprehensive documentation.
  • Establish full project life cycle plans for complex projects across multiple platforms.
  • Advise on risk assessment and risk management strategies for projects.
  • Plan and coordinate project schedules and assignments for multiple projects.
  • Act as a primary liaison for business units to resolve project and technology issues.
  • Mentor junior team members and perform complex technical and functional analysis.
