Job description

The role involves developing modern and responsive single-page web applications using the Typescript stack, particularly Angular and Java EE frameworks. The engineer will integrate with REST APIs and build automated DevOps processes using various tools. This position requires collaboration with architecture design teams and mentoring junior team members. The main focus is on delivering high-quality software solutions while managing project schedules and ensuring QA readiness.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a closely related field and five years of experience as a Principal Software Engineer/Developer.
  • Alternatively, a Master's degree in a related field and three years of experience in a similar role.
  • Demonstrated expertise in full stack IT product development, including front-end, middleware, and back-end technologies.
  • Experience with automated DevOps tools such as Docker, Jenkins, and Concourse.
  • Proficiency in Java, JavaScript, Angular, HTML, CSS, and Node.js.

Responsibilities

  • Participate in architecture design teams and define application-level architecture.
  • Develop applications on complex projects and subsystems for the division.
  • Recommend development testing tools and methodologies, and review test plans.
  • Ensure QA readiness of software deliverables and develop comprehensive documentation.
  • Establish full project life cycle plans for complex projects across multiple platforms.
  • Advise on risk assessment and management strategies for projects.
  • Plan and coordinate project schedules and assignments for multiple projects.
  • Act as a primary liaison for business units to resolve project and technology issues.
  • Provide technology solutions to daily issues and technical evaluations.
  • Mentor junior team members and perform complex technical analysis for multiple projects.
