Job description

This position involves building and developing applications using various technologies such as Java, SQL, and AWS. The role focuses on creating scalable solution architectures and migration strategies for cloud applications. The candidate will participate in architecture design, mentor junior team members, and provide technology solutions to project challenges. The main goal is to ensure the successful delivery of software applications that meet project goals on time and within budget.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, Information Systems, or a closely related field and five years of experience as a Principal Software Engineer/Developer.
  • Alternatively, a Master's degree in a related field and three years of experience in a similar role.
  • Demonstrated expertise in technical and functional analysis for web-based applications.
  • Experience with Java, Spring Boot, REST, SOAP, and SQL.

Responsibilities

  • Participate in architecture design teams and define application-level architecture.
  • Develop applications on complex projects and recommend testing tools and methodologies.
  • Ensure QA readiness of software deliverables and develop comprehensive documentation.
  • Establish full project life cycle plans for complex projects across multiple platforms.
  • Advise on risk assessment and management strategies for projects.
  • Plan and coordinate project schedules and assignments for multiple projects.
  • Act as a primary liaison for business units to resolve project and technology issues.
  • Mentor junior team members and perform independent technical analysis for multiple projects.
