The Apple Wallet Identity QE Team is seeking an experienced software engineer to contribute to the future of digital identities. This role involves establishing and refining QA processes while integrating testing infrastructure with CI/CD systems. The engineer will work on automation for server and client applications, ensuring high-quality digital identity products. Collaboration with development, product, and project management teams is essential to deliver features that enhance customer experience.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience with object-oriented programming
- BS/MS in Computer Science or equivalent experience
- Excellent knowledge of the software development lifecycle, testing methodology, and testing tools
- Experience in developing test plans and assessing risk
- Experience developing and maintaining automation systems that scale
- Experience testing applications built for mobile devices
- Experience developing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines
- Proficient in Java or Kotlin
- Experience with AI-assisted development tools
- Knowledge of operating systems and networks
Responsibilities
- Establish and implement formal QA processes for the team
- Integrate testing infrastructure with continuous integration and deployment systems
- Architect and contribute to the server and client automation stack
- Drive new digital identity features from conception to production
- Work cross-functionally with development, product, and project management teams
- Ensure automation code meets quality standards and customer expectations
- Manage the build and release process for iOS/MacOS projects
