Job description
This position involves working collaboratively with engineering and business teams to define test cases and implement automation solutions for Java REST APIs. The role focuses on developing automation scripts using various technologies, including Java, JavaScript, Selenium, and Playwright. Additionally, the candidate will build and maintain Jenkins CI pipelines for UI and REST API automation. The ideal candidate will also be responsible for analyzing test results and ensuring product release readiness.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a closely related field, or a Master's degree with relevant experience.
- Three years of experience as a Senior Software Engineer/Developer performing test automation and quality engineering, or one year with a Master's degree.
- Demonstrated expertise in implementing comprehensive test automation for responsive Web MVC applications using JavaScript frameworks.
- Experience in designing and executing test automation for enterprise J2EE applications using Java and REST-Assured framework.
- Proficiency in writing complex SQL queries and testing enterprise caching layers using Redis.
Responsibilities
- Analyze and report test results, project tracking, and product release readiness to business partners.
- Develop original and creative technical solutions for ongoing development efforts.
- Design applications or subsystems on major projects across multiple platforms.
- Support and perform all phases of testing leading to implementation.
- Assist in planning and conducting user acceptance testing.
- Develop comprehensive documentation for multiple applications supporting corporate initiatives.
- Establish project plans for projects of moderate scope.
- Perform independent and complex technical and functional analysis for multiple projects.
