Job description

This position involves developing advanced data platforms and software services primarily using Java, Spring Boot, and Angular within a cloud environment. The role focuses on creating RESTful APIs and microservices architecture hosted on AWS, ensuring high-quality software delivery. The candidate will also engage in mentoring junior team members and advising management on technical strategies. The work environment is dynamic, requiring collaboration across multiple projects and teams.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field with five years of experience, or a Master's degree with three years of experience.
  • Experience in developing and maintaining microservice applications using Java, Angular technologies, and AWS Cloud services.
  • Demonstrated expertise in developing secure RESTful web applications using Angular, TypeScript, HTML5, CSS3, and Node.js.
  • Experience with AWS services including Lambda, S3, and DynamoDB, as well as CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins.

Responsibilities

  • Develop applications on complex projects, components, and subsystems for the division.
  • Define and implement application-level architecture.
  • Establish full project life cycle plans for complex projects across multiple platforms.
  • Participate in architecture design teams and provide technology solutions to daily issues.
  • Develop original and creative technical solutions to ongoing development efforts.
  • Mentor junior team members and advise senior management on technical strategy.
  • Plan and coordinate project schedules and assignments for multiple projects.
