Job description

This position involves developing and testing software applications in a large enterprise environment, focusing on automation and quality assurance. The role requires expertise in JavaScript, Typescript, and various testing frameworks to ensure high-quality software delivery. The candidate will work closely with architecture design teams and mentor junior members while managing complex projects. The main focus is on applying CI/CD principles and automating application pipelines to enhance efficiency.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a closely related field and five years of experience as a Principal Software Engineer/Developer.
  • Alternatively, a Master's degree in a related field and three years of experience in a similar role.
  • Demonstrated expertise in the full software development lifecycle, including analysis, design, development, testing, build, and deployment.
  • Experience with Java, JavaScript, Cypress, Playwright, and Selenium.
  • Proficiency in developing Application Programming Interface (API) automation frameworks using Rest Assured and Cypress/Playwright.

Responsibilities

  • Participate in architecture design teams and define application-level architecture.
  • Develop applications on complex projects and recommend testing tools and methodologies.
  • Ensure QA readiness of software deliverables and develop comprehensive documentation.
  • Establish full project life cycle plans for complex projects across multiple platforms.
  • Advise on risk assessment and management strategies for projects.
  • Plan and coordinate project schedules and assignments for multiple projects.
  • Act as a primary liaison for business units to resolve project and technology issues.
  • Provide technology solutions to daily issues and technical evaluation estimates.
  • Mentor junior team members and perform complex technical and functional analysis.
