Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Applied Computer Science, Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, Information Systems, or a closely related field, or a Master's degree in a similar field.
- 5+ years of experience as a Principal Software Engineer/Developer, or 3+ years with a Master's degree, specifically in software development for retail investment product applications.
- Demonstrated expertise in Object-Oriented Design and Java Web application development using Java/J2EE, Spring MVC, and related technologies.
- Experience with Cloud security technologies and AWS services, including AWS KMS and AWS Crypto.
- Proficiency in developing responsive User Interface applications using JavaScript, JQuery, and related frameworks.
Responsibilities
- Participate in architecture design teams to define and implement application-level architecture.
- Develop applications on complex projects, components, and subsystems for the division.
- Recommend development testing tools and methodologies and validate test plans.
- Ensure QA readiness of software deliverables and develop comprehensive documentation.
- Establish full project life cycle plans for complex projects across multiple platforms.
- Advise on risk assessment and management strategies for projects.
- Plan and coordinate project schedules and assignments for multiple projects.
- Act as a primary liaison for business units to resolve various project and technology issues.
- Provide technology solutions to daily issues and technical evaluation estimates on technology initiatives.
- Mentor junior team members and perform independent technical and functional analysis for multiple projects.
