Job description

This position involves providing recommendations for Kubernetes configurations and advocating best practices to enhance system scalability, security, and resource efficiency. The role focuses on automating infrastructure management using Terraform and implementing CI/CD pipelines with Jenkins. Candidates will participate in architecture design, develop applications, and ensure quality assurance readiness. The position also includes mentoring junior team members and advising senior management on technical strategies.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, Information Systems, or a closely related field, or a Master's degree with relevant experience.
  • Five years of experience as a Principal Software Engineer/Developer or three years with a Master's degree.
  • Demonstrated expertise in DevOps and Site Reliability Engineering, including managing CI/CD pipelines and automating deployment processes.
  • Experience with AWS, Azure, Terraform, Ansible, and CloudFormation for cloud infrastructure provisioning.

Responsibilities

  • Participate in architecture design teams and define application-level architecture.
  • Develop applications on complex projects and ensure QA readiness of software deliverables.
  • Establish full project life cycle plans for complex projects across multiple platforms.
  • Advise on risk assessment and management strategies for projects.
  • Mentor junior team members and perform technical analysis for multiple projects.
