This role involves architecting and developing microservices using Java and various frameworks while ensuring data integrity and system enhancements. The position requires building databases and analyzing large data streams, as well as creating automated pipelines using CI/CD tools. The candidate will work closely with business units to translate divisional initiatives into software solutions. Additionally, the role includes mentoring junior team members and advising on technical strategies.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, Information Systems, or a closely related field, or a Master's degree in the same fields with relevant experience.
- Five years of experience as a Principal Software Engineer/Developer, or three years with a Master's degree.
- Demonstrated expertise in designing enterprise-grade solutions and building microservices and APIs using Java and Spring Boot.
- Experience with event streaming processes and real-time data integration using Kafka.
- Proficiency in developing solutions for Cloud-based architectures on AWS.
Responsibilities
- Participate in architecture design teams.
- Define and implement application-level architecture.
