Job description

This role involves crafting enterprise solutions and enabling customer connectivity while securing environments through change management. The position focuses on managing F5 and AVI Load Balancing designs for critical applications across on-prem and cloud environments. The engineer will work collaboratively with business partners to ensure high availability and optimal performance of network services. Additionally, the role includes mentoring junior team members and advising on technical strategies.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, Information Systems, or a closely related field and five years of experience as a Principal Network Engineer, or a Master's degree and three years of experience in the same role.
  • Demonstrated expertise in designing advanced traffic control mechanisms and implementing encrypted traffic offloading.
  • Experience with F5 BIG-IP Global Traffic Manager and configuring intelligent DNS balancing based on geolocation.
  • Proficiency in performing F5 upgrades and software lifecycle management for enterprise networks.

Responsibilities

  • Design new enterprise network solutions and enable customer connectivity.
  • Advise business partners on standard methodologies and technology platform options.
  • Solve Application Traffic Management issues related to F5 and AVI.
  • Provide shift-oriented operations support in collaboration with network operations and engineering teams.
  • Document complex technologies and topologies based on security practices.
  • Plan and coordinate project schedules and assignments for multiple projects.
  • Mentor junior team members and ensure constant availability of services.
