• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, Information Systems, Information Management, Business Administration, or a closely related field, or a Master's degree in a similar field.
• Six years of experience as a Director of Software Engineering or closely related occupation, or four years with a Master's degree.
• Experience developing web-based applications using Java, Angular, and HTML in a financial services domain.
• Demonstrated expertise in developing best practices for the full software creation process, including coding standards and test automation.
• Experience with project management and team coordination in an Agile development environment.

• Translate and incorporate business vision and strategy into architectural strategy recommendations.
• Participate in high-level, cross-functional architecture design teams.
• Consult on the development and delivery of major technology initiatives for the business unit.
• Oversee the technical implementation of cross-divisional or company architectural components.
• Initiate and drive project or strategy discussions with users or external groups to resolve issues.
• Provide leadership, technical supervision, and expertise to multiple teams on complex organization-wide projects.
• Research and recommend new technologies to enhance business operations.
• Regularly provide guidance, training, and coaching to other team members for performance and career development.
