Job description

This position focuses on providing cloud-based solution architectures and strategies to enhance delivery squads. The role involves designing applications using AWS Cloud Architecture and various cloud-based workloads. The architect will also develop training curriculums and promote best practices in cloud architecture. The primary goal is to translate business strategies into effective architectural recommendations for large-scale projects.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, Information Systems, or a closely related field, or a Master’s degree in a similar field.
  • Six years of experience in a Director, Architecture role with a focus on cloud architecture and engineering solutions, or four years with a Master's degree.
  • Demonstrated expertise in architecting enterprise-level, multi-Cloud-based platforms using Docker, Kubernetes, and Amazon EKS.
  • Experience in creating Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) pipelines using Jenkins and Infrastructure as Code tools.

Responsibilities

  • Architect applications for resiliency and cost optimization.
  • Collaborate with systems analysts and software engineers to design systems.
  • Consult on the development and delivery of major technology initiatives.
  • Oversee the technical implementation of architectural components across divisions.
  • Develop and direct software system testing and validation procedures.
