Job description

This position oversees the design and delivery of digital security access solutions for external applications, focusing on Multi-Factor Authentication and Single Sign On. The role requires leveraging modern software engineering practices and secure coding principles in a fast-paced, agile environment. The candidate will lead technical strategies using Cloud technologies and front-end frameworks while implementing DevSecOps practices to enhance software quality. This role also involves researching new technologies to support the business unit's strategic direction.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a closely related field and six years of experience as a Director, Software Engineering.
  • Or, alternatively, a Master’s degree in a related field and four years of experience as a Director, Software Engineering.
  • Demonstrated expertise in the Secure Software Development Life Cycle and enterprise Web applications using NIST guidelines.
  • Experience developing and implementing Cloud-based solutions for Continuous Delivery pipelines.
  • Expertise in designing and developing IAM products and services on Cloud infrastructure.

Responsibilities

  • Translate and incorporate business vision and strategy into architectural strategy recommendations.
  • Participate in high-level, cross-functional architecture design teams.
  • Identify and consult with internal and external technical resources for strategic designs.
  • Consult on the development and delivery of major technology initiatives.
  • Oversee the technical implementation of cross-divisional architectural components.
  • Initiate and drive project discussions with users or external groups to resolve issues.
  • Set vision, goals, and direction for the team or organization.
  • Plan and lead organization-wide initiatives.
  • Provide leadership and technical supervision to multiple teams on complex projects.
  • Advise senior management on technical strategy.
