Job description
In this role at Apple, you will contribute to the infrastructure and tooling that enables reliable and scalable evaluation of Siri's quality across various devices and features. You will work within the Agentic Evaluation Engineering organization, focusing on expanding the evaluation platform and adapting to evolving priorities. The position requires strong programming skills and a solid understanding of computer science fundamentals. You will have the autonomy to tackle challenges and collaborate with teams to improve Siri's performance.
Requirements
- Strong programming skills in one or more compiled languages such as Swift, C++, or Objective-C.
- Python scripting skills for tooling and automation.
- Solid understanding of computer science fundamentals.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate across teams.
- M.S. or B.S. in Computer Science, Machine Learning, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- Experience staging, provisioning, or controlling test or evaluation environments.
- Experience evaluating machine learning, LLM, or agent-based systems.
- Proficiency with Python and Swift in a production setting.
Responsibilities
- Contribute to the infrastructure, tooling, and pipelines for evaluating Siri reliably and at scale.
- Adapt to changing platforms, frameworks, and components as priorities evolve.
- Design and operate test infrastructure at scale, including device provisioning and continuous integration systems.
- Collaborate across teams and communicate effectively with both technical and program audiences.
- Approach problems flexibly and adapt strategies to achieve desired outcomes.
