Job description

The Ads Scientist role at Amazon Ads is designed for a recent college graduate with a focus on AI and data analytics. The candidate will develop tools for analyzing advertising data and present insights to senior leaders. This position emphasizes collaboration with engineering teams to optimize data architecture and improve ad serving systems.

Requirements

Responsibilities

  • Analyze data trends regarding supply, optimization, ad load, and advertising mix effects that affect advertiser performance.
  • Present papers to senior leaders on issues like feature development impact on identity recognition rates.
  • Formalize our analytics approach to Ads auctions by analyzing bid spreads and auction depth.
  • Identify, standardize, and operationalize KPIs to measure the performance of all systems involved in ad serving.
  • Partner with engineering teams to define data logging requirements and prioritize them in engineering roadmaps.
  • Validate financial models through analysis.
  • Develop and own ad revenue and supply intelligence analytics decks.
