The Amazon Fulfillment Technologies (AFT) team is seeking experienced software developers to innovate and build scalable software solutions that enhance customer experience. This role involves working with advanced algorithms, real-time data processing, and various AWS technologies to automate and accelerate product delivery. Developers will contribute to architecture and design discussions while mentoring junior team members. The position directly impacts the safety and compliance of products across different countries.
Requirements
- 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
- 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture experience
- Experience programming with at least one software programming language
- 3+ years of full software development life cycle experience
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent
Responsibilities
- Create solutions to enable product selection that comply with safety standards across different countries.
- Design and develop software services that interact with Machine Learning and FC Operations technologies.
- Deliver project items on-time and in-spec while communicating clearly with leads, managers, and stakeholders.
- Contribute to software and database architecture and design.
- Participate in architecture and design conversations and code reviews.
- Work with managers and team members to estimate effort and clarify project scope.
- Contribute to design, architecture, process, and development standards.
- Mentor interns and help maintain unit test coverage and code documentation.
- Communicate technical concepts effectively to junior developers and stakeholders.
- Identify and suggest mitigation strategies for risks during design.
- Design and implement features for new and existing products, APIs, platforms, and frameworks.
