• 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
• 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture experience of new and existing systems
• Experience programming with at least one software programming language
• 3+ years of embedded firmware development experience, or a Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent
• Experience in computer science fundamentals including object-oriented design and algorithm design
• Expertise in one software programming language, specifically C++ or C
• Experience with Android, embedded Linux development, and RTOS
• 3+ years of full software development life cycle experience
• Experience troubleshooting and debugging technical systems
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Be responsible for system architecture and development of new features for embedded systems
• Investigate, prototype, and deliver new and innovative system solutions
• Design, develop, and verify firmware for embedded systems
• Participate in design reviews, API development, and documentation
• Work with new technologies that are vital to product development
• Perform tasks including debug, bring-up, Beta, and production software development
• Collaborate successfully with both software and hardware product teams
• Influence the product roadmap and define key components of overall system architecture
