The role involves developing Tier-1 services for Alexa Cloud to ensure reliable connectivity between Alexa enabled devices and the cloud. The team focuses on delivering low latency, cost-effective, and scalable solutions that enhance user experience and simplify developer interactions. Candidates will work in a dynamic Agile/Scrum environment and contribute to the professional growth of their colleagues. This position offers the opportunity to build new features and operate a high-visibility cloud service.
Requirements
- 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
- 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture experience of new and existing systems
- Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field
- Experience programming with at least one software programming language
- 3+ years of full software development life cycle experience
- Experience developing, deploying and managing AI products at scale
- System design experience with AI components
Responsibilities
- Build software to deliver low latency, low cost, highly reliable, and scalable connectivity between Alexa enabled devices and Alexa Cloud
- Drive and lead software design, development standards, team processes, and code reviews
- Optimize software libraries for low latency, CPU, and memory footprint
- Deliver high-quality software in a dynamic, team-focused Agile/Scrum environment
- Contribute to the professional development of colleagues, improving their technical knowledge and engineering practices
