• 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
• 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture experience of new and existing systems
• 1+ years of software development engineer or related occupational experience
• 1+ years of designing and developing large-scale, multi-tiered, multi-threaded, embedded or distributed software applications using C#, C++, Java, or Perl
• 1+ years of Object Oriented Design experience
• Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field
• Experience programming with at least one software programming language
• 3+ years of full software development life cycle experience, including coding standards and code reviews

• Own everything from end to end, including requirements gathering, designs, implementations, and code reviews.
• Solve difficult problems by applying appropriate technologies and best practices.
• Work with the team to invent, design, and build stable and performant software.
• Create flexible software without over-engineering and make appropriate trade-offs.
• Consider the legacy of the code produced and ensure it is understandable by other engineers.
• Limit the use of short-term workarounds and minimize incidental complexity.
• Be efficient with resource usage, including system hardware and databases.
